Neroperso is a tribute to the century old method of the "appassimento" - drying of the grapes: a wine that speaks of people, legends and cultures lost over time. Neroperso pays homage to a century old winemaking method that was widely practiced in Veneto little has changed since ancient times. After harvest, the best grapes undergo a drying process for 60 days (a process called "appassimento") until each grape is dried out concentrating its taste and aromas of ripe fruit.

A deep ruby red colour, with complex and dense aroma of, cassis blackberry blackcurrant, wild forest berries with fine cedar notes, oyster shell and graphite vanilla, baking spices, some cigar box notes and dark chocolate. The palate is silky and rich, with powerful mid palate tannins and concentrated blackberry, cassis, with a fine and long savoury finish.

A silky textured attack with a plush concentrated cassis and blackberry palate, with ripe Black cherry cocoa powder and spice flavours on the mid palate, a hint of mineral elegance expressed as oyster shell with a long flavoured fine grained tannin finish.
