The Lafite Rothschild family has been producing wine in Bordeaux since 1868. For six generations, they got to know this beautiful landscape and understand the unique traits of the vines from each appellation. Three decades ago, the family was inspired to create a new wine series, where each wine would be the epitome of the appellation it came from. Their motivation was simple - to ensure wine lovers everywhere could dive into Bordeaux and taste the originality of each appellation. And so, the Les Légendes R range was born. Les Légende R Bordeaux 2020 shows a beautiful colour, with dark glints. The nose is fruity, with aromas of dark berries (blackberries, blackcurrants) and Morello cherries. The palate is dense, harmonious and balanced with a very aromatic finish (notes of liquorice and candied liquorice).

Deep ruby red with hints of violet. Mature fruity notes on the nose with hints of spice and balsamic from its aging. On the palate, this oak aged mix of Garnacha and Tempranillo grape varieties is soft and well-structured with a long lasting aftertaste.

This 10 Year Old Port is smooth, well balanced and mature and is ready for drinking now. Dow's 10 Years Old Tawny has a bright tawny colour. On the nose brimming with aromas of candied fruit and toffee, beautifully combined with some mature ripe fruit. On the palate vibrant nutty flavours, perfect balance and with a lovely long finish.

Light amber and tawny colour, showing mature raisiny fruit aromas with hints of honey and caramel. Dow's Twenty Years Old Tawny has a rich and nutty palate, with wonderful balance. A clean crisp finish and a soft lingering aftertaste.

Dow's Fine Ruby was aged in seasoned oak casks at our lodges in Vila Nova de Gaia for an average of 3 years, and bottled when ready to drink. Exuberant youthful fruit flavours make it perfect for informal drinking.

A superb Tawny from a leading Port house. Dow's Tawny is a very fine and delicate style, with pretty red fruits balanced by nutty depth derived from an average of three years aging in small oak casks. Owned by the historic and also very modern Symington family stable of Ports, the Dow's has both pedigree and sheer quality on its side.

The Chablis 1er Cru Mont de Milieu is a powerful, rich, and rounded mineral wine. Brilliant yellow colour. Elegant and complex nose. The aromas are reminiscent of citrus as well as white flowers. The wine is harmonious on the palate and develops a nice structure.

A captivating bouquet of white lilies, powdered sea salt, almond oil, green apple, and the vibrant freshness of pikopiko fern leaps from the glass, offering an intricate and alluring nose. On the palate, the wine unfolds with effortless grace, delivering a broad, savoury impression balanced by a delicate touch of residual sugar. Layers of citrus rind, nougat, and a subtle buttery richness from extended lees aging intertwine seamlessly. With its lighter alcohol and precise focus, the wine heightens the sensory experience, stimulating the taste receptors at the edges of the palate for a refreshing, cleansing effect. The finish is remarkably long and resonant.

A deep dark colour with brilliant purple hues. The bouquet is rich in blackcurrants with hints of chocolate and aniseed followed by dark berry fruits on the palate. The wine is superbly balanced with soft silky tannins on the finish.

Along the Marlborough shore, holding fast to the rocks at low tide, is the seaweed Durvillea, named after the captain of the Astrolabe, Dumont d'Urville. This wine is a classic varietal expression of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc blended from across the region. In the glass find aromas of gooseberries, white and black currants, lime peel and grapefruit. A medium-bodied palate with lime, gooseberry and citrus flavours, minerally texture and a long crisp finish. Match with leafy summer salads, fresh oysters and seafood of all types.
