Grapes sourced from Mount Riley's Seventeen Valley vineyard in Marlborough's Wairau Valley. This is one of their warmest vineyard sites and along with super low yields produces the ripeness levels required for Syrah. Grapes are cold soaked, fermented in small parcels and aged for eleven months in French oak barriques. In the glass, magenta with purple hues. Aromas of floral, spice and white pepper notes. The palate reveals a structured wine with great fruit purity and great length of flavour. Match with red or gamey meats and pasta.

Ghost Town Syrah is handcrafted in very limited quantities. Blackcurrant raspberry and sandalwood notes sit alongside cassia bark and sweetly scented spice elements in the background

Deep purple in colour. Ripe cassis and black plum fruits on the nose with violets. Varietal fruit-driven palate, with cassis and dark-berry fruit and spice flavours. Soft tannins complement the fruit with mouth-filling generous finish.

A fragrant aroma black cherry and fragrant blueberry with hints of black pepper and 5 spice with a hint of musk and thyme underlining the complex bouquet. This is a beautifully balanced wine with Black Doris plum, blackberry and sweet prune supported by a silky textured palate with firm but fine-grained tannins and a hint of oak giving this Syrah great structure and length.

Bin 28 offers a showcase of warm climate Australian Shiraz - ripe, robust, and generously flavoured. First made in 1959, Bin 28 is a multi-region, multi-vineyard blend, with the Barossa Valley always well represented. The 2023 vintage eloquently expresses Penfolds House Style, balancing fruit intensity with a structure poised for ageing. This makes it both an immediate pleasure and a candidate for cellaring, promising to evolve with complexity over time. Blue fruits instantly emerge, specifically elderberries, blueberries, and bilberries. Poached plums merge with the exotic spiciness of cassia bark, imparting rich flavours. A hint of meat adds depth and character to the profile. The mouthfeel is sculpted by chocolate powder tannins, which are luxurious and precise, lending a structure that is both assertive and velvety. Also present is the umami complexity of tomato consommé, enriched with piquant olive tapenade. The palate is further textured by a ferrous minerality.

Loaded with plum and red berry fruits, this spicy McLaren Vale Shiraz is layered with mocha, oak spice and anise with finely integrated oak. Showing great depth and generosity, the palate is elegant and well defined. Pepperjack Mid strikes a balance between the art of traditional winemaking that Pepperjack is renowned for, and the science of cutting-edge de-alcoholisation and flavour retention technology. Still bursting with quintessential Pepperjack character, this mid-strength wine displays aromas of blackberries and plums with hints of pepper and spice. The palate is rich, round, and soft with concentrated berry fruits and soft velvety tannins.

A tribute to the Barossa's winemaking heritage, Pepperjack is crafted using a blend of traditional techniques and modern flair. Winemaker Richard Mattner - a born-and-bred Barossa local - loves making Pepperjack wines as much as he loves drinking them, especially alongside a great steak. As he says: "Why would I need anything else?" Deep dark red with a vibrant purple rim, the nose bursts with rich aromas of blackberry, blueberry, dark chocolate, mocha, and spice.
