Arguably New Zealand's finest Pinot Noir, certainly if track records are taken into account, Ata Rangi have been doing Pinot Noir better and for longer than anyone. An incredibly consistent wine since the early 1980s, they've had a dream run even by their lofty standards with four of the finest vintages ever in succession.

A wonderful array of aromas; watermelon, baked raspberry, fig and melon with a savoury note of pecorino cheese. This is a dry style Rosé.

Introducing Ata Rangi's first ever sparkling wine. This sparkling cuvée was conceived in the late hours of the cool, tempestuous 2023 season. A parcel of Pinot Noir that did not want to sit through another rain shower! They picked it at low brix, and a fresh high acid, perfect for making a vibrant and uplifting bubbles. This was about moving and responding to the season and making something Ata Rangi are proud of and love drinking!

This wine pays tribute to David Herd, who established Marlborough's first commercial vineyard and winery at Auntsfield in 1892. Using David's original vineyard site and specific Muscat Clone, this wine is made by applying the Méthode Ancestrale technique, which can be traced to production of the first sparkling wine "Blanquette de Limoux" in 1531. As in the 1530's and 1890's, fermentation with natural yeast is completed in bottle. The result is a wine that honours the foundational work of our ancestors and celebrates continued discovery and pleasure. With each bottle being it's own fermentation no two bottles are exactly the same.

Intense and pure aromas of fresh passionfruit, and ripe citrus. Notes of dried herbs, mandarin peel and fresh floral notes give intensity to the aromatics. This wine displays intense ripe fruit flavours of passionfruit and white peach, and tropical fruits with fresh citrus and citrus peel.

An opulent, oaky, buttery and toasty styled Chardonnay created with 100% oak barrel fermentation, 100% malolactic fermentation and oak aged in a mix of French and American oak.

This stylish Merlot is produced from a special selection of grapes grown in the stony soils of Babich's Irongate vineyard in the Gimblett Gravels region of Hawke's Bay. It displays an attractive wealth of berry fruit and plum aromas, balanced by full-flavoured, soft tannin finish.

The Babich Black Label range is crafted specifically to complement food. This Pinot Gris, partially fermented in oak barriques, offers flavours of toffee, nectarine and pear, with a hint of ginger. Dry, rich and complex, with layers of flavour. A full-bodied style with great weight and a creamy density.

The Babich Black Label range is crafted specifically to complement food. This deep coloured Syrah is produced from a special selection of grapes grown in the Bridge Pa Triangle region of Hawke's Bay. Vibrant and lifted with plum, black pepper, violets and dried herbs. French oak contributes subtle vanilla and cedar aromas. Supple and smooth with fine soft tannins and medium weight. Cherry, plum and red brambly notes join with a touch of cocoa and nutmeg. Bright, juicy and lingering finish.

A lively and complex expression of Marlborough Chardonnay produced from Babich's organic certified Headwaters Vineyard in the Wairau Valley. Deliciously spicy peach, golden apple and honeydew melon with hints of toffee and lemon lingering on the finish.

Babich's flagship Irongate Vineyard is situated in an old shingle bed of the Ngaruroro River in the Gimblett Gravels appellation of Hawke's Bay. First produced in 1987, this single vineyard wine has evolved to represent the very best of their craft. Crop-levels are heavily restricted to deliver excellent flavour concentration in the grapes, with the final blend delivering a rich, round and complex wine. Blackberry, blueberry, cigar box and plum aromas. Inviting and warm with a touch of spice, charcuterie and well-integrated oak. Smooth and seamless with layers of sweet dark fruits, cocoa, leather, cedar and liquorish. Dense, concentrated and vibrant with a long finish.
