Dal Vulcano Aglianico del Vulture DOC captures the warmth and volcanic character of southern Italy, where mineral-rich soils lend both freshness and depth to this native Aglianico expression. Grown in the northern Basilicata region under a Mediterranean microclimate with natural temperature shifts, the grapes develop remarkable aromatic intensity and structure. Ruby red with purple hues, this wine bursts with blackberry and blueberry on the nose, leading to a palate layered with red currant, rose, walnut, pine and a subtle smoky edge. Persistent, aromatic and beautifully balanced, it offers a vivid taste of its volcanic origins and the Potenza hills where Aglianico thrives.

The Lionheart of Dandelion Vineyards is their old vine Barossa vineyard. These ancient, gnarled vines, many over a hundred years of age, are not only surviving but thriving on their own roots in some of the oldest soils on the planet. In the last week of April whole bunches of Shiraz were hand harvested, then gently crushed and naturally fermented in open fermenters for eight days, hand plunged twice a day, before careful basket pressing into some new but predominantly older French Oak Barriques to finish fermentation. After 18 months maturation and a racking in the same oak, we bottled our Lionheart without filtration or fining, to capture the essence of the vineyard. Dandelion Vineyards Lionheart is ready to drink and will reward cellaring and decanting.

This Pride of the Fleurieu Cabernet was grown in the family's pride and joy, overlooking the Finniss River wetlands, Tony Brooks and Prof. Barbara Santich's dry grown Stranger's Reach vineyard cooled by the Great Southern Ocean and Lake Alexandrina where low rainfall and deep alluvial soils encourage Cabernet to populate or perish. Selected bunches were hand picked by family and friends in the last week of March and gently crushed into open top fermenters. After 8 days fermentation the wine was then basket pressed into some new but predominately older French Oak Barriques for 18 months maturation and then bottled with minimal winemaking artifact, to capture the essence of the vineyard and will reward cellaring and decanting.

A very easy drinking maritime warm climate Cabernet Sauvignon. A core signature of blackcurrant and violets. Juicy palate with black fruits, cherry and currant with a touch of dried sage and a freshness of spearmint. The tannins are fine and polished. Totally delicious.

A decadent and indulgent expression of South African winemaking, crafted from grapes grown on the decomposed granite slopes of the Darling Hills, where cooling Atlantic breezes shape their character. A portion of the fruit is left to naturally raisin on the vine, lending richness and intensity before being blended with oak-matured Pinotage. The result is seductively smooth and full-bodied, with alluring aromas of Turkish delight, chocolate, red cherry and vanilla, followed by layers of plum, butterscotch and supple tannins. Rich, balanced and irresistibly moreish, it lingers long on the palate and pairs beautifully with berry or chocolate desserts, or savoury meat and pasta dishes.

This complex wine spoils you with flavours of raspberry, ripe red plum, vanilla, coffee, liquorice, chocolate and nuances of tobacco. It has an elegant structure with velvety tannins and a surprisingly lengthy aftertaste.

Displays flavours of black berries, black current, red berries and a tinge of vanilla. On the palate lies a good amount of fine tannins which will reward those who want to put this wine away. It will truly blossom with time.

Decades ago, a tractor launching a ski-boat off Yzerfontein was caught in a high tide and was never recovered - it can be spotted occasionally when tide is low. A rich and complex wine with ripe plum and dark berry flavours, forest floor and kelp with underlying toasted oak notes finishing with a smooth and textured palate from integrated barrel maturation. These concentrated flavours follow through on the palate combined with a fine tannin structure, gives this wine a rich and complex finish.

On the nose, nashi pear and white blossom greet you with supporting notes of citrus and candied ginger. On the palate, the wine is concentrated and poised with bright flavours of pear and lychee. A full bodied luscious palate with a juicy acidity carries through the palate giving the wine great drinkability and pairing with a variety of spicier dishes.
