Dolcetto is an Italian grape variety that is little known or planted in Australia. The variety hails from the mountainous Piedmont region of north-west Italy. Translated literally, 'Dolcetto' means 'little sweet one'. This wine has fresh, lifted aromas of red jubes, blackberries, red currants, hints of spice and liquorice. The palate has flavours of ripe summer berries and a natural grape sweetness that is balanced by the frizzante mouth-feel providing a refreshing, lively finish.

Bright lifted red fruit notes complement darker savoury earth tones along with spice, a touch of chocolate and subtle blood orange nuances. The palate is generous and complex, focused throughout by a mineral freshness and energy, and supported by lovely acidity with persistence of fine textural tannins.

Blackberry, medjool date and doris plum aromatics bounce from the glass of Five Hills. The palate has solid tannin structure and beautiful shape, which will integrate and soften with time ageing in bottle. There are blackcurrant, chocolate and smoky flavours on the palate, with a mineral texture that is reminiscent of clay pots hot from the kiln, and volcanic rock. The natural acidity of the Malbec provides direction and length.

This Syrah is made from grapes grown on naturally low yielding vines. It displays fragrant blue floral aromas and dark berries, and has much less black pepper notes than its Hawkes Bay counterparts. On the palate it is opulent and velvety in texture, full of seduction and is well poised, showing hints of rhubarb, dark cherry and cocoa beans. This wine is both intense and delicate with great concentration.

Calidea Primitivo greets the nose with aromas of ripe blackberry, dark cherry, and plum, layered with notes of sweet spice and a hint of warm vanilla. On the palate, it's velvety and full-bodied, with smooth tannins and a lingering, fruit-forward finish. Perfect for pairing with hearty pasta dishes, grilled meats, aged cheeses - or simply enjoying on its own.

Campo Viejo Ecologico is their most exciting expression in terms of sustainability. It combines organic wine, sustainable practices and improved packaging without compromising the quality of the wine. They carefully converted and certified their vineyard in Rioja to an organic vineyard, selecting the highest quality of organic grapes. This wine is bottled in a lightened bottle with 75% recycled glass and the bottle is 100% recyclable in its entirety. Fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, this organic wine is also certified vegan. Very fragrant mouth, with good structure and a fresh and fruity finish. The nose is flooded with signature Tempranillo red fruit, plums and blackberries, further enhanced with strawberries and delicate herbal notes contributed by the Garnacha. Perfectly paired with cured meats, poultry, pizza and pies.

Camshorn, originally a Suffolk sheep farm, is surrounded by the Waipara regions Teviotdale hills. The unique suntrap climate with cool autumn nights is key to creating rich, aromatic and elegant wines. A small yet diverse region, Waipara consistency delivers excellent wines and Camshorn is no exception, showcasing stunning wines that exemplify the regions terroir. This Pinot Noir has dark fruit and smoky aromas leading to a medium-bodied palate of black cherry compote, and ripe plum joined by savoury spices and vanilla.

An inviting olfactory landscape delineated by hints of red and black cherry, plum and dark chocolate; a touch of black pepper follows. Warm, round, solidly-structured taste with a perfectly blended tannic vein. Closes with traces of licorice.

Carmen can see Frida Kahlo reflected in their wines... Wines that are surprising, inspiring, daring, bright and refreshing, like some of the many characteristics that Frida Kahlo had. This Merlot has a bright ruby red colour. On the nose, notes of fresh red fruits such as cherries and hints of vanilla along with sweet spices such as cloves, can be appreciated. It is a wine of good volume, balanced and with velvety tannins.
