Brockenchack's 2021 Miss Bronte Eden Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is created to be an easily approachable yet variety-defining style, for lovers of Cabernet. Upon release, thanks to favourable seasonal conditions, this Cabernet shows off all the beautiful leafy aromas that they found in the vineyard during ripening, along with gentle mint and sage notes. Unmistakable ripe blackberry, rich black currant and Cassis flavours dance across the palate, with herbal lacework woven in. Spectacular open-grained tannin, as expected, is defined by chocolate and soft cocoa to balance the flawless finish.

Leafy berry aromas are to the fore, due to the wine being majority Cabernet Sauvignon. A lovely mid-depth colour with youthful tints. Ripe Cabernet fruit complimented by the spice and plushness of the Shiraz component. Fine long tannins and acid line will see this age well over the medium term. A lovely drinking wine as always.
