The Last Shepherd Syrah is a bold Hawke's Bay Syrah and a deliciously good story. Floral aromas such as lilac, violet with lifted dark berry notes appear on the nose. On the palate, flavours of boysenberry and plum with well-integrated oak influence come through. With medium weight on the palate, this wine has a hint of pepper and warm spices, rounded out with a soft and velvety finish.

Blending the Maude Pinot Noir is one of their favourite and most important tasks. Each year, the magical blend from the Poison Creek and Mohawk Hill vineyards changes. Maintaining the pedigree of the Maude Pinot Noir is absolutely critical; but achieving this requires flexibility with both the blend as well as the technique as both vary with each vintage. The Ned Crunchy Red is an early release Pinot Noir - designed to be served slightly chilled. A limited release wine from the world-renowned range of The Ned wines, made in Marlborough by Marisco Family Vineyards. Named in honour of a Thorn family ancestor, William Randell Shiraz is the only single vineyard Shiraz produced by Thorn-Clarke and is sourced from the older Kabininge Vineyard. This wine is only produced in exceptional years, and in very small volumes equating to less than 1% of total production. With fruit quality and intensity second to none, this wine is aged for 22 months in 100% new French and American oak. Black and inky in colour, the complexity and concentration evident on the nose and palate are amazing. Cellar up to 15 Years.

From long afternoon lunches to sharing a glass after a successful day at work, Tom & Pete were fascinated by this noble variety and the how it was shape by it where it was grown, the wide range of ways it is handled in a winery and its unmistakable variety richness. The 'P&R' Cabernet is hand crafted to be a wine that while mistakably Cabernet, retaining a deep core of fruit and varietal characteristics - while being a wine that flows gently across the palate and very approachable. This wine has a true identity.
