Neroperso is a tribute to the century old method of the "appassimento" - drying of the grapes: a wine that speaks of people, legends and cultures lost over time. Neroperso pays homage to a century old winemaking method that was widely practiced in Veneto little has changed since ancient times. After harvest, the best grapes undergo a drying process for 60 days (a process called "appassimento") until each grape is dried out concentrating its taste and aromas of ripe fruit.

The Assemblage is Pikes Northern Rhone inspired blend. Grenache brings the aromatic bright fruits and palate structure, Shiraz provides plush mid palate and blue fruits, and Mourvedre provides dark fruits and spice. A complex, juicy-yet-savoury red that pairs beautifully with slow cooked Asian style beef short ribs. Drinking superbly upon release and will reward cellaring for 5 years.

Intense red with purple hues. Intense youthful fresh ripe berry fruit flavours with some well integrated vanillin oak. Full bodied dense ripe berry fruit flavours balanced with vanillin oak but yet long and smooth. Serve with a red wine casserole or a juicy steak with red onion jam. Dark red in colour with garnet coloured reflexes. A deep, concentrated aroma. On the nose, there are aromas of ripe fruit such as blackberries and cherries, sweet violet aromas and fresh notes of cistus and eucalyptus. In the mouth note the sensation of volume, intense fruit and mature tannins. A long, fresh finish.

Ruffino Chianti DOCG is an approachable, easy-drinking wine that has predominantly fruity and floral aromatics, with hints of spice and hazelnut. The palate is soft with a medium body and nice balance, displaying pleasantly fruity characteristics.

Smoking Loon The Original Old Vine Zinfandel is a striking deep, inky purple colour in the glass. Aromas of ripe raspberry, black cherry, peppercorn and toasted coconut lift from the glass. This rich, medium-bodied wine is full of flavour with loads of fresh red fruits; raspberry, pomegranate and a healthy dose of that classic Zinfandel spice. This is a bold wine with good structure and lively acidity making it a perfect match for any type of BBQ.
