Founded by the legendary Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira, Quinta do Vesuvio is one of the great Douro estates. Pombal do Vesuvio is the Quinta's second wine, taking its name from the vineyard that surrounds the property's dovecote. It has a higher proportion of Touriga Franca, giving it a silky smoothness and floral aromas.

Full flavoured typical Barossa Shiraz with black pepper, plum, chocolate and a smooth lingering finish. A rich Barossa Shiraz classically made with some extended skin contact to soften the palate. The wine is matured in older American oak barrels for 15 months to allow the fruit aromas to develop and the tannins to naturally soften.

This Bendigo Pinot Noir is densely coloured, perfumed with lifted dark berry fruit on the nose with hints of spice and savoury characters. The palate shows plums and cherry fruit, spicy notes and fine tannins. Nice subtle integrated oak and a long finish.

Taylor's 10 Year Old Tawny Port is a superb expression of the aged tawny style, crafted from carefully selected reserves matured in seasoned oak casks in the cool lodges of Oporto. This is a wine of great intensity. It has distinctive blackcurrant and cassis fruit flavours. Subtle oak characters of cedar cigar box and spice are also evident. The tannins are fine and elegant - a hallmark of the varietal. The palate is well balanced, complex and fulfilling and lingers on the finish.

It is a well balanced wine with great texture, good length and enjoyable fruit flavours on the finish.
