The 'P&R' Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the founding pillars of TOPE. From long afternoon lunches to sharing a glass after a successful day at work, Tom & Pete were fascinated by this noble variety and the how it was shape by it where it was grown, the wide range of ways it is handled in a winery and its unmistakable variety richness. The 'P&R' Cabernet is hand crafted to be a wine that while mistakably Cabernet, retaining a deep core of fruit and varietal characteristics - while being a wine that flows gently across the palate and very approachable. This wine has a true identity.

Dark plum, raspberries, cassis, dark cherry, spice and vanilla on the nose. A medium to full bodied palate with soft tannins and textural mouthfeel.

The Deep, rich black colour invites you to discover the mystery of this wine, which displays intense aromas of black cherries, black plums and blackberries with a subtle spicy touch.

The leather and plum aromas of the Merlot combine with spice and red fruit characters of Tempranillo and Malbec. Cassis aromas and structural backbone are provided by the Cabernet family.

The wine has a dense purple colour. It has aromas of sweet berry fruits that are entwined with dark chocolate. On the palate it has intense flavours of blackcurrant and plum with soft, smooth tannins with subtle oak characteristics.

A modern, fresh and fruit driven wine, showcasing the lighter, brighter style of Shiraz. A medium-bodied palate with juicy dark berry fruits, blueberries, violets, graphite and flint, held together with fine, supple tannins. Smooth & delicious.
