This wine is dark garnet with purple hues in colour. On the nose it is fragrant with violet, red cherry, blackberry, dark plum aromas. A fruit driven wine with concentrated black plum, red cherry and mocha notes. Ample silky fine tannins, toasty oak and a long ripe berry finish.

1203 Pinot Noir is a true reflection of Misty Cove's Fareham Lane vineyard, where exceptional terroir and meticulous care come together. It captures the vibrant flavours, fine tannins, and subtle earthy tones that define Marlborough Pinot Noir. Hand-harvested in small parcels, the fruit is carefully handled to preserve its freshness and purity. The resulting wine offers a harmonious balance of lush red fruits, delicate spice, and refined tannins, showcasing the depth of their vineyard. Over time, this Pinot Noir will evolve beautifully, rewarding cellaring with greater complexity and depth.

This wine contains a mixture of traditional organic Pinot Noir clones 777, 115, Abel and 667. It was made through minimal handling intervention and the softest touch. Allowing it to show natural expression of terroir balanced with French oak.

The nose demonstrates earthy, herbal and dark fruit characters with hints of undergrowth. The focused palate is concentrated with succulent dark fruits and fine mouth-coating tannins.

Ripe dark plums, cherries, violets and spice lead into a wine brimming with ample concentrated fruit flavours of red cherries and raspberries on the palate complimented by soft spices and toasty oak influence. Long to finish with bright acidity and soft ripe tannins.

Mt Difficulty is a boutique winery located in Bannockburn, Central Otago, and was named after the mountain overlooking Felton road and the southern Cromwell basin. As the vineyards are ageing Mt Difficulty are starting to see additional complexity emerging each vintage. Inviting and opulent, the palate is flush with sweet cherry & blueberry, followed by trademark earth & savoury notes and framed by baking spice and fine grained French Oak. The fruit floods through to the finish with a juicy balance, indicating acidity that will keep the wine aging well.

The grapes for Roaring Meg come from Mt Difficulty's Cromwell basin vineyards managed by their dedicated viticultural team. The addition of fruit from their Bendigo vineyard has lends a powerful, darker edge. Roaring Meg Pinot Noir features red, blue and black berry fruit aromatics. The palate is harmonious with rich dark berries and a savoury line underneath. A hint of spice and dried thyme complement the succulent fruit. Fine silky tannins frame the wine with a great flow and finish.

Pipeclay Terrace Pinot Noir is hand crafted in very limited quantities and only released in outstanding vintages. Classic high tone violet florals that are intermingled with black cherry and blackberry notes with an edge of sweet brown spice.

A wine of contrasting elements - equal measures of dark seductive plum fruit and lifted ethereal floral aromas combine to give an aroma profile that beguiles the senses and demands lengthy contemplation. The palate layers rich wild berry fruits with dark chocolate and a taut minerality with a blanket of fine tannin. All work in perfect harmony, slowly fading to shadows on a tantalisingly bright finish.

The Central Otago terroir produces Pinot Noir fruit that is intensely coloured and brimming with flavour, this fruit creates stunning wines with black fruit characteristics and richly perfumed aromatics. Dark blackcurrant, wild blackberry, dried herb and spice drive the aromatics which then lead to a lush ripe textural flow showing great density and depth. The wine finishes with great softness and drive.
