Pear drop and nectarine aromas are heightened by lifted ginger spice, rose and honeysuckle notes, while the palate is rich and long with a medium dry finish. This wine is well matched with seafood, white meats and many Asian-inspired dishes.

On the nose, nashi pear and white blossom greet you with supporting notes of citrus and candied ginger. On the palate, the wine is concentrated and poised with bright flavours of pear and lychee. A full bodied luscious palate with a juicy acidity carries through the palate giving the wine great drinkability and pairing with a variety of spicier dishes.

The Giunta Pinot Gris is certified organic wine from the Nelson region. Pale yellow in colour with some depth, a little lighter on the rim. Rich pears and crisp peach on the nose with hints of spice, toffee and light florals. The palate is rich on the approach with luscious quince pie and a bit of cooked apple. The mid palate is textural with a touch of grainy spice and the finish is perky and fresh.

This Pinot Gris has aromas of ripe pear, honeysuckle, lemon, melon and guava on the nose, mingled with a hint of brioche. Along the Marlborough shore, holding fast to the rocks at low tide, is the seaweed Durvillea, named after the captain of the Astrolabe, Dumont d'Urville. This Pinot Gris is a blend of fruit parcels from the length and breadth of Marlborough made in a dry, mineral style to suit food and age well. In the glass find aromas of peach, light pear, citrus peel and a hint of spice. A medium-bodied palate with pear and peach flavours, mineral texture and a long finish. Match with salads, seafood, poultry and egg dishes - a versatile food wine that pairs particularly well with smoked salmon.
