Often known as 'Baby Grange', Bin 389 was first created by legendary Penfolds winemaker Max Schubert in 1960, combining the structure of Cabernet Sauvignon with the richness of Shiraz. The 2023 vintage continues this iconic tradition with generous aromas of blackberry, plum, dark chocolate and Black Forest cake, complemented by cinnamon, dried herbs and discreet toasty oak. The palate is full and layered, bringing together red currant, tart cranberry and vanilla with savoury notes of black olive, orange zest and fennel.
