The Farm Cabernet Sauvignon was sourced from Cabernet Sauvignon vines, planted in 1997, at Jim Barry's Lodge Hill property. The Lodge Hill Vineyard is located on the Eastern Ranges of the Clare Valley and sits at an altitude of 480m above sea level providing fruit of great elegance and complexity. Classic Cabernet aromas of Cassis, Doris plum skin, and nuances of lifted tobacco leaf. The palate is full, but not fat, with a depth of flavour showing this is a serious wine. The nose carries perfectly to the palate with a tannin profile that drives long and frames nicely, leaving you with all the hallmarks of Classic Cabernet Sauvignon.
