Garnet and red colour. Good intensity. Presence of stewed fruit, jam. Hints of spice (clove). Reminiscent of cedar and balsamic notes. Fruity with sweet hints from the wood at the end.

The grapes are picked at their peak ripeness and followed by cold maceration and temperature-controlled fermentation in French and American oak, and aged in the cask for 9 months. This wine is deep violet in colour and requires being aerated, so decanting is always recommended. As the wine begins to breathe, it releases notes of minerals, ripe black fruit and white pepper, which combines with soft, pleasant tannins.

This Reserve Chardonnay is a full-blown, 100-percent barrel-fermented with brand new American oak barrels, 100% malolactic fermentation, sur lie, aged on its lees, and bâtonnage twice a month.
