Founded in 1937, Brookfields Vineyards is Hawke's Bay's Oldest Boutique Winery, situated alongside the glistening waters of the Tutaekuri River, between Napier and Hastings.

Aromatic nose of concentrated blackcurrant fruit with dark chocolate and violet notes. A concentrated wine with layers of dark berry and cassis fruit, mingling with dark chocolate and tobacco leaf notes. Long lingering finish.

Chocolate, Cassis and mint flavours on the nose. These flavours carry over to the palate with he addition of ripe berry flavours. The parcels of premium Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon used in this wine were open fermented before being gently pressed and racked to barrel.

The McDonald Series wines are an expression of both their fruit and the vision of their namesake winemaker. This full-bodied wine is packed with layers of rich berry fruit, cassis and dark cacao notes, along with lifted cedar and thyme aromas. While impressive now, the powerful yet fine-grained tannin structure ensures great longevity. This wine is unfined and unfiltered to preserve quality. Some precipitate may form with time and decanting is recommended.

This Pride of the Fleurieu Cabernet was grown in the family's pride and joy, overlooking the Finniss River wetlands, Tony Brooks and Prof. Barbara Santich's dry grown Stranger's Reach vineyard cooled by the Great Southern Ocean and Lake Alexandrina where low rainfall and deep alluvial soils encourage Cabernet to populate or perish. Selected bunches were hand picked by family and friends in the last week of March and gently crushed into open top fermenters. After 8 days fermentation the wine was then basket pressed into some new but predominately older French Oak Barriques for 18 months maturation and then bottled with minimal winemaking artifact, to capture the essence of the vineyard and will reward cellaring and decanting.

A very easy drinking maritime warm climate Cabernet Sauvignon. A core signature of blackcurrant and violets. Juicy palate with black fruits, cherry and currant with a touch of dried sage and a freshness of spearmint. The tannins are fine and polished. Totally delicious.

Displays flavours of black berries, black current, red berries and a tinge of vanilla. On the palate lies a good amount of fine tannins which will reward those who want to put this wine away. It will truly blossom with time.

A deep dark colour with brilliant purple hues. The bouquet is rich in blackcurrants with hints of chocolate and aniseed followed by dark berry fruits on the palate. The wine is superbly balanced with soft silky tannins on the finish.

Intense red with purple hues. Full bodied with dense ripe cassis fruit flavours balanced with vanillin oak but yet long and smooth. Try with char grilled sirloin or a heart minestrone. This wine has the flavour, structure and balance to be enjoyed now or offers added satisfaction from further cellaring.

A deeply coloured wine with great depth and varietal definition.

Corryton Park is a wine of amazing depth and complexity. The wine showcases classic Cabernet Sauvignon with fragrant aromas of blackcurrant, tobacco, mint, blackberry and cedar. The full bodied palate is succulent and complex with layers of cassis, plums and winter fruit all beautifully supported with elegant supple tannins.

The nose has a lovely array of blackcurrant and dark fruit aromas, with hints of sweet spice and vanilla in the background. The dense palate is rich, ripe and generous with an elegant palate structure full of cassis fruit and dark cherries matched with hints of spice and fine, savoury tannins.
